Why Sportiva

Practical Sport Prep,
Without the Complexity

Sportiva is designed around one idea: recreational players deserve sport preparation education that actually fits their lives. Here's what that looks like in practice.

What You Get

Advantages of Choosing Sportiva

These aren't marketing points. They're the decisions we made when building each programme — and they directly affect your experience.

Small Groups by Design

Sessions are capped at 10 participants. This isn't incidental — it's how we keep sessions practical, personal, and actually useful for everyone in the room.

Take-Home Materials

Every programme includes reference materials — routine cards, seasonal planners, or a digital routine library — so you can apply what you've learned without needing to remember everything on the spot.

Flexible Session Times

Weekday evenings from 6 pm and weekend mornings from 8 am. We plan around when recreational players in Selangor are actually available, not the other way around.

Sport-Specific Content

Routines are built around the sports participants actually play — badminton, futsal, running. Not generic fitness content repurposed to sound sport-related.

Three Levels of Commitment

From a single workshop to a ten-week block to an ongoing membership — you pick what fits your schedule and how seriously you want to engage. Change tiers any time.

Education-First Mindset

We explain the reasoning behind each habit and routine, not just the steps. Understanding why something works means you're more likely to keep it up between sessions.

What Each Benefit Means for You

Expertise

Coaches with Real Recreational Sport Experience

Our lead coach has a sports science education background and has spent years working specifically with recreational player communities in Shah Alam and the surrounding Klang Valley area. This isn't a corporate fitness company that added a "sport prep" module — it's the only thing we do.

  • Sport science-grounded content adapted for recreational contexts
  • Hands-on experience with local badminton, futsal, and running communities
  • Sessions updated seasonally to reflect local sport calendars

"We built our session content by watching what recreational players in Shah Alam actually struggle with — not by adapting a programme from somewhere else. The habits we teach are ones we've seen work consistently in this community."

— Hafiz Azman, Founder

How a Typical Session Runs

  1. 01. Context and purpose — what today's session covers and why it matters
  2. 02. Practical content — hands-on habit building with group participation
  3. 03. Q&A — open discussion to personalise key points
  4. 04. Takeaway — a reference card or resource to use before your next game
Process

A Clear, Consistent Format Every Session

Every Sportiva session follows the same four-part structure. This means participants always know what to expect, and the time is never wasted on setup or figuring out the plan mid-session. The format also makes it easy to pick up a coaching block mid-way through if your schedule doesn't allow you to start from the beginning.

Value

Transparent Pricing with No Hidden Add-Ons

What Sets Us Apart

Unique to Sportiva

Built Around Selangor's Sporting Culture

Our content reflects how sport happens here — evening badminton after work, futsal on Fridays, Saturday morning running. We don't adapt from elsewhere; this is what we know.

A Programme for Every Commitment Level

A one-day workshop, a ten-week block, and an ongoing membership. You choose what suits you now and can step up later. There's no pressure to commit beyond what works for your life.

Non-Competitive Environment by Policy

Sessions are deliberately not structured around performance outcomes. We don't track times, rankings, or progress metrics. You're here to feel better about your sport — that's it.

Seasonal Content Updates

We update the routine library and workshop materials based on local sporting seasons and participant feedback. Membership holders receive updated content as it's added throughout the year.
